Domaine Louis Brochet has been nestled at the foot of Montagne de Reims in the village of Ecueil since the 19th century. Here, the family’s passion for vineyards and meticulous work on the terroir according to the purest of Champagne expertise has been passed down through four generations of winegrowers. The Pinot Noir fruit of d'Ecueil is carefully selected, endowing these wines with finesse and character. Our absolute favourite grower champagne - family owned and committed to producing champagnes of the highest quality.
Food Pairing: Chicken Casserole with Quince, Fricassee of Scallops and Vegetables, and Truffled Gouda.
Merchant Review NR
Our favourite grower's Champagne. Family-owned and committed to producing Champagnes of the highest quality. With a blend dominated by Pinot Noir, Brochet Non-Vintage is deep golden yellow with a fine mousse. It has an intense nose with red fruit and slightly toasted characters. Full-bodied with lengthy flavours and a smooth finish. The wine shows excellent poise and drinks beautifully following extended ageing in Brochet’s cellar. A favourite of Hergé, creator of Tintin.
