These local Chenin vines are between 50 and 60 years old and dry farmed on granite soils. I was intrigued by the process of picking over one to two weeks and adding fresh juice to the ferment sequentially. This prolongs ferment and seems to add layers of complexity. The white is also aged on its fine lees for 6 or 7 months as in the very best examples of Chablis. Honeyed, citrus and orange blossom notes with a twist of lime. A hugely complex wine for the price.

Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).

Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).

High-value or high-volume orders may be sent out with London City Bond (LCB) couriers who do not currently offer active tracking. Please contact us via email orders@waudhandford.com or phone +44 20 7589 6113 for updates on this.

Please note we only ship to Mainland UK addresses (Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey excluded).
