Product: 2023 Moulin de Gassac, Albaran Vieilles Vignes Rouge, Pays d'Herault
The Moulin de Gassac wines played a decisive role in preventing the disappearance of the exceptional terroir here, a result of the discovery of the exceptional amphitheatre site of Villeveyrac. Thereafter, Mas de Daumas Gassac confirmed the wines’ unique identity with their own signature: Moulin de Gassac. Their ‘Albaran’ is a bland of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Syrah, grown on Jurassic limestone and lime sandstone slopes, rich in Bauxite. The nose is complex with notes of blackcurrants, toasted hazelnuts and hints of vanilla and the palate opens up to reveal ripe red berries with silky tannins. Ideally, decant this wine for one to two hours to allow its full expression to shine though and serve with cassoulet, breaded goats cheese medallions or game terrine.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
