It is one of the most famous Grand Crus in Alsace, mainly due to a famous “Clos” and the magnificent Chapel overlooking the vineyard. The Rosacker owes its name to the wild rose, which grew in abundance around the edge of the vineyard. Complex, taut and mineral with some spice, apricot, lime and pear. A hint of tangerine, and lovely tingling acidity. Great complexity and balance.
