Product: 2023 Classica Hacienda Lopez de Haro, Tempranillo, Rioja
Situated on a picturesque hillside of the historic village of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, one of the most well-known wine villages in La Rioja, Hacienda López de Haro produce wines made using traditional methods, intending to convey the fusion between the traditional and the modern. The winery combines grapes of excellent quality with the essence of the Riojan wine tradition to create a wide range of elegant wines with their own personality – “Riojan wine, not Riojas”. Hacienda López de Haro have a network of trusted small winegrowers with whom they have been working for many years. The quality of their vineyards, the love for their land, and the feeling of belonging to a common project have made them an essential part of the winery to this day. The Lopez de Haro Tempranillo is made from hand-harvested grapes and spends 6 months in new oak barrels. A violet colour in the glass, the wine displays complex aromas of red berries and liquorice on the nose, with a hint of vanilla from its time in barrel. On the palate there are ripe and rich tannins and refreshing acidity. Match with roast pork loin, mild chorizo or Manchego cheese.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
