Trebbiano Polentino is the grape and is markedly different to Trebbiano Toscano which is Italy’s most planted white variety. This is an Orange Wine experience, despite lacking the golden hue. This wine undergoes approximately 6 months of skin contact in large
concrete and ceramic eggs. It’s not at all pithy or tannic it has a generous texture similar to a Condrieu or Alsace Gewuztraminer but with a bundle of flavours ranging from kumquat and orange peel to parsnip and heirloom tomatoes. A great option if you want something ‘white’ with bigger meats.
