A fabulous wine to collect in recent years, being extremely serious and fair value for a Grand Cru. Richer still with a seam of spice and sandalwood running through but this is chunkier, more forceful and with even more pronounced black cherry and bramble fruits. There are hints of truffle and a calming finish of vanilla cream. Super silky, with that velvet touch and even a touch of sucrosity this is surround sound in the mouth! 2035 to 2047.
