The 2022 is the Auxey 1er back to its very, very best. Deep and opaque red, purple and with such vitality, spring and zest for life. Given the style of the Fremiets there must be something in the wine making here; the skill is in retaining that red apple crispness whilst giving a brim full palate. Truly fine and, like many a great wine, will drink well over a long period. 2027 to 2038.
