Product: 2022 Auvigue, Pouilly-Fuisse, Les Villages
Auvigue’s Pouilly-Fuissé is a shining example of elegance and balance. Made from 100% Chardonnay grown in Fuissé, Solutré, Pouilly, and Chaintré, the vines are rooted in clay-limestone and flint soils, lending the wine its signature minerality. This carefully crafted cuvée combines freshness and complexity, aged in a mix of stainless steel and oak barrels, some of which are new. It opens with inviting aromas of white flowers, ripe pear, and vineyard peach, enhanced by a gentle touch of oak. On the palate, it’s round and rich yet vibrant, with a mineral tension that carries through to a lingering finish of toasted hazelnuts and subtle wood spice. Auvigue is a family-run winery with a legacy rooted in the Mâconnais since 1946. Specialising in Chardonnay, they are known for their commitment to organic and traditional winemaking practices that respect the environment. Their wines consistently highlight the authenticity and character of their terroir, earning them international acclaim.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
