Product: 2021 Tua Rita, Perlato Bosco Rosso, IGT
Tua Rita Perlato del Bosco is the result of a particularly encouraging vintage that delivered a regular maturation of the grapes in a timely manner. The winemaking process took place in a “tino troncoconico di rovere” (conical oak vats) for 6 months and then 10 months in barriques. The vintage defines the typical characteristics of Sangiovese from the coast: fresh and classical notes of “Macchia Mediterranea” that make this wine special for its territoriality. When Rita Tua and her late husband bought a property in southern Tuscany in 1984, they could have never anticipated that they would end up heading the second generation of Super Tuscans with the proximity to the sea, gently sloping and a unique clay-based soil from the metalliferous hills of the Val di Cornia. Now Stefano Frascolla and his wife Simena, Rita’s daughter, are now at the helm of the estate. The wines are now more elegant and refined than ever, true gems of the Tuscan coast, crafted with the same attention to detail and pioneering spirit from the beginning.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
