Product: 2021 Ridge, Three Valleys, Sonoma County
The first Three Valleys was released back in 2001 and, unlike Ridge’s single vineyard wines, represents a blending of vineyards – winemaking at it’s finest. Wonderful toasty notes of oak, strawberry jam and baking spice on the nose, with layered black and blue fruit, milk chocolate and cherry on the palate. Textured tannins lead into a lovely long finish. One of the best-loved names (and most distinctive labels) in wine, Ridge has achieved the rare distinction of iconic status not just domestically, in the US, but around the world wherever fine wine is consumed. This is thanks to the thoughtful and consistent application of simple principles: carefully chosen, mature vineyards farmed with great care; minimum-intervention winemaking; production decisions guided by continual blind tasting; and total transparency through ingredient labelling. The result is a range of spectacular and distinctive wines that have made certain vineyards into household names: Geyserville, Lytton Springs and of course Monte Bello. Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
