With the vineyard’s history dating all the way back to 780 AD, Mas de Daumas Gassac is a superstar producer. In 1971, The Daumas family bought an abandoned “Mas” (farmhouse) and mill located in the heart of a beautiful wild valley through which flowed the Gassac river, and planted vines in clearings in the middle of 4,000 hectares of forest. Famously described as the ‘First Growth of the Languedoc’, Mas de Daumas Gassac remains a truly unique producer in the region. Produced from old non-cloned vines and low yields, Mas de Daumas Gassac Blanc stand up to ageing as do no others. To be drunk young (in the first 18 months) to appreciate its magnificent minerality and very complex fruit aromas.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
