From the upper slopes of the Cote de Beaune in an area that was once used as a quarry for roofing stone, the clay-limestone soil produces stunning wines that are also excellent value. These 40 year old vines are vinified for 15 days in vats after picking, then spend 18 months in barrels, 20% of which are new oak. Full bodied yet easy to drink, the tannins are elegant and fine. Incredibly juicy and lush, with a dash of cream. There are no hard edges and it has a long and focused finish, showing the minerality in the soil.

Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
