Domaine de la Romanee Conti`s Echezeaux is poised and spicy, with a texture reminiscent of chocolate. The best expression of an Echezeaux money can buy. A real contrast to the years preceding and succeeding it, 2021 was an old-school vintage due to the horrible growing season. Intense cold and frost in April decimated the crops, though a good end to the season saved the harvest.
