Product: 2021 Chateau Puech-Haut, Saint Drezery Prestige Blanc, Languedoc
A blend of Marsanne and Roussanne, the Saint Drezery Prestige Blanc 2021 is a lovely golden colour in the glass. The nose is bright with aromas of ripe tropical fruit and white peach. The palate is fresh with a wonderful floral note on the finish. Château Puech-Haut is a secret star of Languedoc near the region of Pic-St-Loup, founded by Gerard Bru. Nestled between the shores of the Mediterranean and the Cévennes, the estate extends over more than 150 hectares. The castle was built on solid foundations: an ideal climate, passionate men and a land covered with rounded pebbles. The combination of the Mediterranean climate and mixture of clay and limestone soils topped with galet pebbles, help create a truly impressive range of superb value French Country wines. Through wine, the personalities and the resources of an entire terroir are expressed and shared. Therefore the wines of Château Puech-Haut are all steeped in history and endowed with a singular identity with a strong character. Food Pairing: Perfect as an aperitif, with seafood, or scallop risotto.
