Hiroyaki Kusuda’s 2020 Riesling has a fine green apple nose with exquisite touches of white peach. It is beautifully fresh and mineral with a definite flinty lift. The palate is deliciously refreshing and extremely pure with incredible energy; it is like tasting a pebble from a rushing mountain stream. The finish is long with a light phenolic grip that keeps the palate salivating for more. This is a gorgeous wine with a long life ahead of it. Drink 2022-2032.
