Product: 2020 Fernand & Laurent Pillot, Pommard, Les Tavannes
Domaine F & L Pillot are part of the large Pillot family and are cousins of Domaine Paul Pillot. Like their cousins, they mostly specialise in white wines but also make a selection of great quality Cote de Beaune reds, including Volnay, Beaune, Chassagne, Santenay and Pommard.
The ‘Tavannes’ parcel is a 0.8 ha vineyard next to Pommard Epenots, situated on red calcerous soil – typical Pommard terroir. The wine is a classic 2020 Burgundy, packing a punch at 15% and displaying deep purple, rich chocolate and fruit cake characteristics.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
