Product: 2019 Rathfinny, Blanc de Blancs Brut, England
The estate’s most elegant sparkling, the Rathfinny Blanc de Blancs 2019 is produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Luminescent gold in colour, with a delicate nose of ripe, almost tropical fruit, this Blanc de Blanc provides a complex palate of apricot and creamy citrus, with a delicious long, elegant yuzu finish. Rathfinny Estate in East Sussex was founded in 2010 by husband and wife, Mark and Sarah Driver. Once a working arable farm, the first vines were planted in 2012 and today Rathfinny comprises of over 200 acres of predominantly Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Located in the South Downs National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty in Southern England, the Rathfinny vineyard is perfect for growing sparkling wine grapes: The light, thin, clay loam soils over chalk are free draining and very similar to the Champagne region of France. Food Pairing: The perfect match to fish and seafood dishes such as turbot with samphire, crab risotto, or seabass sashimi.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
