Like the Charmes Chambertin, this is another prodigal vineyard that has been sold as a monopole until this year. The situation is extraordinary, almost hanging off the very highest bit of south facing cliff edge at the very top of the village. And what a year to make a debut! Slight density in the glass, black and red fruit with plenty of spice and a steely edge to the nose. Wonderful ripeness and persistence. Gosh this is good. 2028 to 2037
