Meursault Charmes is one of the top Premier Crus and is arguably Grand Cru in quality being round, full bodied and sumptuous. This pairs well with Roulot`s signature lean and racy `reductive` style of winemaking. A hot and dry vintage (similar to 2018 and 2020) the red wines at the best are incredible, some of the best reds to date, while those from less attentive producers have alcohol levels off the scale. The whites are characterised by a ripe and concentrated style, best in places producing rounder whites such as Meursault. 93-95 Points - Jasper Morris
