The 2018 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is really delicious opening in the glass with a youthfully opulent bouquet of ripe black berries, rich black cherry, musk, pink rock candy and a creamy lick of new oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, deep and quite powerful with an abundantly fine tannin structure, juicy fresh piercing acids and a nicely sappy, saline black berry finish. 94-96/100 Greg Sherwood MW
