The DOC Alentejo Portalegre Reserva Red 2017 is a robust and expressive wine, showcasing the unique character of its century-old vineyards. It presents a garnet colour with medium concentration and offers a complex bouquet of red berry fruits, bush, rockrose, wax, earth, and leather. On the palate, this wine is elegant yet rustic, with expressive ripe fruit, firm tannins, and good acidity. It has a classic, fresh profile, making it a wine of great depth and longevity. Tapada do Chaves is one of Alentejo"s oldest wineries, located in the hamlet of Frangoneiro near Portalegre. With a century-old legacy, the estate"s vineyards are planted on granite soils at the foothills of the São Mamede Mountain, benefiting from a unique microclimate that contributes to the depth and character of their wines.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
