Only a 45min decant is required to unleash its potent nose of violet, lavender, sugar plum, cassis and black cherry but with hints of black pepper and then earthy leather developing. The full tannins are very well integrated but still scream to the drinker that structure is both present and mighty. The finish is like silk with a prominent taste of soft blackcurrant. A pleasure to drink now but will happily improve. 2025-2036.
