A bombastic aroma of ripe juicy black cherries and wild bramble. They calmly nestle in a cradle of smart new oak which weaves in vanilla nutmeg + cedar. The dense black fruit and smoky oak do not overrun your palate like the nose would suggest. This blend is dominated by Cabernet Franc which ensures a snappy backbone of raspberry acidity to offset that brooding alcohol which evolves into espresso coffee on the finish.
