A classic Bordeaux styled blend of 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 22% Merlot, 17% Petit Verdot, 5% Malbec and 1% Syrah. Red and black berries plus more mature notes of leather and malt on the nose while the palate is rich and full with lots of succulent fruit and smooth tannins. "Aromas of oak spice, roasted herbs, dark chocolate and dusty plums waft from the glass with notions of purple flowers and potpourri. Medium to full-bodied, the wine reveals layers of complexity and a beautifully balanced mid-palate with succulent tannins and lifting acidity. It ends with a long-lingering and ever-evolving finish. The wine rested for 22 months in French oak barrels, 20% new, before being bottled. " 93pts Wine Advocate
