Made from 70 year old vines with 20% new barrels, this is a bold statement of a wine with immense concentration, layers upon layers of superbly defined yellow plums, quince and citrus fruit infused with liquid minerals, pine nuts and toasty oak. This broad shouldered, hedonistic offering has a superb fruit weight and intensity that is beautifully matched by freshness and lively pulsing acidity. There is array of oat richness, lemon sherbet and butterscotch notes in long, long finish.
