`Lavaux St Jacques` is one of the top Premier Crus of Gevrey Chambertin and is named after the Combe Lavaux that channels cool air into the vineyard. The wine is on the more elegant style of Gevrey Chambertin with pure red berry fruit characteristics and complex mineral notes. A carefree ‘perfect’ growing season resulting in what many consider to be one of the best vintages of recent times. The reds are some of the best and of a richer and more concentrated style, with excellent ageing potential. The whites are deep fruited with the best wines coming at the top levels. 90 Points - Jasper Morris
