Chambertin is one of the best Grand Crus in Burgundy, characterised by its power and long lifespan. Rousseau`s vines are some of the oldest, this combined with careful viticulture and winemaking add up to some of the greatest wines that are a combination of rich fruit, elegance and fine aromas. A carefree ‘perfect’ growing season resulting in what many consider to be one of the best vintages of recent times. The reds are some of the best and of a richer and more concentrated style, with excellent ageing potential.
