The 2012 Nit de Nin is an outstanding wine thanks to its intensity, depth and elegance. It"s a single-vineyard wine from a very old plot in the Mas d"en Caçador vineyard on an impressive slope planted with very old vines on slate soils. The wine is pure, perfumed, intoxicating even, floral and spicy, intense and captivating. This wine delivers notes of red berry fruit, floral notes, sage, pepper, spice, smoke and sandalwood. The palate is highly refined, with pure flavours, great minerals, freshness, completely focused, generous but fine at the same time. It ends very tasty, with a saline minerality. Simply superb. Drink or keep.
