Located in the heart of the Municipality of Barbaresco, Exposure to south-south / west and altitude ranging from 220m to 290m above sea level sits Martinenga. The bottling of part of this vineyard was first done in 1982 and is still only bottled in very good years. The wine matures in new French oak, making this the more international in style of all the Di Gresy wines. In then matured for an extra year in Slovenian oak barrels before refining in bottle for a final year. The colour in the glass is a brilliant garnet red with an intense nose of plum and cherry. The fruit blends sinuously with balsamic, mint, tea leaves, dried flowers and blonde tobacco.
