2010 was rated an “excellent” vintage in Rioja and is one that has generated a lot of excitement already. There was much less rain than average in the spring although a cold June restricted flowering and reduced yields, especially in Tondonia. From then on it was a smooth run to harvest, which started on 27th September for the white grapes and 4th October for the reds. The autumn weather conditions were absolutely perfect, resulting in grapes of superb quality. The resultant wines are truly exceptional with a great capacity to age and carry all the hallmarks of a great, “Atlantic” Rioja vintage.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
