Although Veronique Sanders is no longer the outright owner, she remains true to her values and continues to be one of the regions most consistently great performers.60% cabernet sauvignon, 37% merlot and 3% cabernet franc. Pretty, red fruit nose scored with hints of mineral and earth. Rich, velvet texture with a cool, currant core. There`s plenty of ripeness (on first taste I wondered whether it was a bit too ripe now), but all is in harmony. So I`m slightly reserving judgement here but almost certain that this is the best Grave behind Haut Brion and on of the wines of the vintage. 2020 to 2035
