Once again this is a tour de force for Nicolas and surely one of the classics of the vintage. Not as deeply coloured and extracted as many Grand Crus, the Chambertin is more stylish, pure, seductive and with plenty of sweet spice to the ripe red fruits. Super persistent and showing a mineral bite at the finish. Silky tannins and fine acids are beautifully integrated already. So this will drink as a great, great Burgundy over a long period. 2017 to 2035.
