Product: 2005 Croft, Quinta da Roeda Vintage Port
Quinta da Roêda Vintage 2005 is a stunning example of Croft’s mastery in vintage Port production. This wine offers an intense bouquet of ripe blackberries, dark plums, and cherries, complemented by notes of violet, spices, and subtle hints of chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and well-structured, with firm yet velvety tannins providing a backbone to the rich, concentrated fruit. A long, opulent finish with layers of complexity hints at its ageing potential. Located in the Douro Valley, Croft is one of the oldest Port houses, established in 1588. Known for its rich heritage and expertise, Croft owns Quinta da Roêda, one of the finest vineyards in the region. Roêda is often referred to as the “jewel of the Douro Valley,” producing Ports renowned for their distinctive floral character and remarkable depth.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
