Product: 2002 Robert Ampeau, Meursault Premier Cru, Perrieres Blanc
The origins of Domaine Robert Ampeau trace back to the early 20th century when Robert Ampeau, driven by a vision to honour his family’s winemaking heritage, acquired a modest vineyard in Meursault. From the outset, Robert was dedicated to traditional methods, firmly believing in the significance of terroir, the Domaine strategically expanded its vineyard holdings to include prime plots in Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, and Savigny-lès-Beaune through the 1950’s and 70’s. A beautiful golden colour with an interesting bouquet of lemon and beeswax. Round in the mouth, this wine reveals delicious notes of toasted hazelnuts and a mineral finish. It is a balanced and elegant wine. Match with prawn cocktail avocado, veal in cream sauce, beaufort cheese.
Orders are typically processed within 2 working days and shipped by DPD using their Next Day service (delivery by the end of the next working day).
Orders to remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland) may be sent with DPD’s Two Day service (delivery within two working days).
