Portuguese wines are somewhat underrated in the UK, with most people only really considering Port as the go-to wine from that country. Fortunately, there is so much more from the country – with great wines coming from the Douro Valley, from Dao, as well as other appellations including Alentejo – whether there really are some super wines.
