Under 35 tasting at The City of London Club

Last night we hosted a brilliant tasting with the Lloyd's of London Under 35 Marine and Energy Insurance Group at the iconic City of London Club. 

120 guests attended our Spanish themed tasting in the spectacular Drawing Room - where we made our way through a flight of Rose, White and Red wines before all attendees taking part in a very competitive Mystery Wine Competition. 

This evening was designed to tick a number of boxes. First and foremost, it was a fantastic social gathering and networking opportunity. It also has the added bonus for these brokers and underwriters to taste a selection of wines they may not have had before, and therefore learn a bit more about wines, varieties and regions - so potentially the next time they are taking clients out, they have more confidence with navigating the wine list. 

Many thanks to Joseph Pellicci and Katie Pembroke for inviting us back - and we look forward to hosting another one in November in the run up to Christmas. Well done to Vito and Hugo from our Waud Handford Team for some very busy pouring and sharing of wine education to the crowd!
